Course descriptions:

This class is designed for people wanting to attain a B1 level in standard French, and for speakers of Louisiana French who want to explore Louisiana literature. Focus on expanding speaking and grammar skills by reading French stories written by Louisianans.

The course is $160 for AF members for 8 courses of 1 hour or $195 for nonmembers for 8 courses of 1 hour.

A specialist in North American French lore and culture, Rachel has worked as a French instructor at UL, at Université Sainte-Anne, and in Lafayette Parish Immersion. She holds a PhD in Francophone Studies from the University of Louisiana at Lafayette.
