Course descriptions:

This class is designed for people wanting to attain a B1 level in standard French, and for speakers of Louisiana French who want to explore Louisiana literature. Focus on expanding speaking skills by studying French texts from Louisiana.

The course is $160 for AF members for 8 courses of 1 hour or $195 for nonmembers for 8 courses of 1 hour.

A specialist in North American French lore and culture, Rachel has worked as a French instructor at UL, at Université Sainte-Anne, and in Lafayette Parish Immersion. She holds a PhD in Francophone Studies from the University of Louisiana at Lafayette.
