Course descriptions:

During this beginner course, students will learn to use common expressions and everyday phrases in French that are essential for daily interactions. They will practice introducing themselves and others, asking and answering basic questions, and engaging in simple conversations with growing confidence. The course provides a solid foundation in spoken and written French through a clear, communicative approach.

The course is $160 for AF members for 8 courses of 1 hour or $195 for nonmembers for 8 courses of 1 hour.

A specialist in North American French lore and culture, Rachel has worked as a French instructor at UL, at Université Sainte-Anne, and in Lafayette Parish Immersion. She holds a PhD in Francophone Studies from the University of Louisiana at Lafayette.
